N’SYNC-MERRY CHRISTMAS, HAPPY HOLIDAYS WITH LYRICS
Upcoming Rap Albums to Throw In the Xmas Stocking
In today’s dismal music climate, especially in the hip-hop scene, release dates are sort of a joke. How it usually works is the artist’s record label will keep tossing singles to the radio until one catches on. They will continue to push back the record until a single catches on. If the single catches on early or if the album leaks onto the internet early, they will push up the release date. Sometimes if a single doesn’t catch on they won’t release the record at all. I say all this to warn you that, although all of these records are scheduled to come out before Christmas, the record labels or artists could push them back to God knows when. So, keep that in mind. Because aftermarket car parts don’t fit in the stocking, pick one (or all) of these and that special someone will have a rappin’ good Xmas.
Timbaland – “Timbaland Presents Shock Value 2”
Timbaland was the biggest record producer in the world around 2006, but in 2009 he’s been trying hard to keep his sound fresh. In the sequel to his huge hit, “Shock Value” he is going the same route as last time—producing all the tracks himself with co-producer Danja and enlisting some of the hottest names in hip-hop, rock, R&B, pop and country to guest on them. “Shock Value 2” promises something for everyone with appearance by Justin Timberlake, Drake, Nickelback, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Daughtry and OneRepublic.
Young Money – “We Are Young Money” & Lil’ Wayne – “Rebirth”
I have no idea what is going on with this record and I doubt any of the parties involved do either, but if they are smart they will release it as quickly as possible, and definitely before Christmas. The latest rumors are that Lil’ Wayne’s much delayed “rock” album, “Rebirth” will now be packaged with the album by his new crew, Young Money. This is a great idea, in these tough times for the record industry, a double disc set for the price of a single could really fly off the shelves, plus, Lil’ Wayne did have the biggest selling album of 2008, so he is guaranteed to move units. Young Money already had a hit single with “Every Girl,” but that was a few months ago and they have already stopped playing it on the radio, so hopefully they push their new single “Bed Rock” and get the album in stores ASAP.
Snoop Dogg – “Malice in Wonderland”
Led by the bouncing, The-Dream helmed single “Gangsta Luv”, Snoop has been working on auto-pilot mode recently, happy to bang out mediocre tracks and call it a day. The tracklist for “Malice in Wonderland” gives me high hopes, though, since it is a tight 14 tracks and features R. Kelly and Lil’ Jon, two guys who I’ve been hoping would make a comeback soon.

What do I do about this guy now, I’m confused?
About a year ago me and my ex split. Still not sure why we split. We did speak when we saw each other after this, just saying hello.
Anyway at Christmas I sent a text just saying happy xmas. He replied and asked how I was etc.
I’ve heard nothing since until a couple of days ago he sent a ‘hi. how are you thing’ So I replied much later, giving him my new number etc.
He went on to say what he’s been doing that day and commented that I must have had a late night, coz I took so long to reply.
I told him what I was doing etc.
Why would a guy text like that, and ask about me being out late etc?
I’m trying to think, ‘friends’, but its hard not to let my mind wander, he is a very shy person and took him about 8 months to pluck up courage to ask me out when we dated before. I know he’s not dated anyone since.
I don’t know what to do, do I text him in a few days or leave it up to him
to get in touch again?
its not who rings who first-it’s what do you want to do- do you want to get back with him or not – if you don’t want to then keeping in touch as friends is fine and do not start looking into little things about what he wants-if you would like to get back with him and you said he’s shy then you phone him and don’t dilly dally suggest you start going out together again life is too short
take care
